Oklahoma 33, OREGON 34 (final)

Beano Cook actually just made an interesting point.

The Pac Ten rule of always using their own officials for home games will not be followed when Notre Dame goes to USC in November.

Per Beano, USC had Pac Ten officials in South Bend last year. So Notre Dame insisted on Big Ten refs at USC. Damn, I thought ND had their own refs. :wink2:

He also pointed out that Washington just played in Norman with Big 12 refs on September 9th, so for Oklahoma to threaten to not play at Washington with Pac Ten refs is BS.

I think what tOSU and Texas did, with the replay refs being from the other conference than the on-field refs, is a simple solution.

A item of curiousity.

The Pac 10 crew that did the Oregon-Oklahoma game is suspended, as everyone has heard. But due to a shortage of officials, that crew will be working a game today. They will be calling the USC-Arizona game - that's right, the Arizona squad coached by Mike Stoops, Bob's brother.
