Oklahoma 20, Miami 21 (Final)

The talk on the Radio around here is they believe Bradford will play. Still Oklahoma hasn't played well in road games outside of Oklahoma the past few years. Still, I have trouble buying Miami. On the other hand Oklahoma hasn't played anyone since the BYU game to even think they will be good up front. OU's offense is designed to kill the sister's of the poor, but what happens when they run into similar athletes. Blah.

Im surprised by this line. I figured Oklahoma would be favored, not by 7.5 though, -3.5 sounds right. All that being said I still am unsure if I can take the canes + points. Decisions, decisions. Someone sway me, I want to bet!

I'm staying away from this one.

I could see Oklahoma at -7.5 if Bradford was healthy and in rhythm but he isn't and he won't be at first.

The last Defense that Oklahoma has faced that had any type of talent was BYU and even before Bradford was hurt they were struggling. I think Miami's defense will give them fits.

That said, Miami is very young and last week against Va Tech might have shaken them to the point that they come apart.

Being at home helps Miami and Oklahoma has a serious road game monkey to get off its back.

This is one of those games that you can talk yourself into circles when looking at it very easily. If the line was closer, I'd stop here, but I think that the line posted means Miami +points, but we'll see.

I'm looking at OU's record against OOC opponent this decade and I'm not seeing anything remotely resembling what they've accomplished within the B12 conference. The closet proxy that I'm going with here are the games against 'bama in '03, UCLA in '04 and Oregon in '05. With the exception to a seven point squeaker that included a late fake punt at Bama, things did not go well for OU in those games. I'm obviously going to root for Miami because another OU lose would be HUGE for OSU's chances of getting back into the national picture, and I think Miami has enough talent on D, especially on the DL to give OU problems. A cool million on the 'Canes.
