Oklahoma 10, TEXAS 28 (final)

Just making sure you guys all know that Mack Brown is still the coach at Texas and he hasnt won many big games without a guy named Vince and he is no longer there.

I couldn't agree more, and if OU was even a halfway decent team this year, I'd go with them. But their offense is so one-dimensional, it's ridiculous. Even Mack Brown is smart enough to know to stack the box in this game.

After the ugly loss in Oregon, I have no faith in the Sooners!
I think Texas doesn't lose another game.
I think they'll smother Peterson and as long as they(Texas) don't turn it over they win.

Texas doesn't have better athletes. You're really underestimating how athletic Oregon is.
No, I'm not. I've seen Oregon play three times this year, and several times last year. I've only seen Texas play once(this year). It was against us though, and I think that Texas has, at least, an equal caliber of athlete as we do. Oregon has some very good athletes, but not top to bottom, like us and Texas.

On offense, Oregon has better athletes. On defense, Texas has better athletes. Maybe you're talking about depth which I would give to Texas. Oregon's athletes on offense are about as good as it gets.

Outside of QB, where is Texas not on par or above Oregon's athleticism? Oregon has great athletes at WR, but Texas is loaded with athleticism there too.

Charles & Finley are probably the most athletic in the country at their position. Texas has more athleticism on the line as well.

QB - Oregon (Dixon / McCoy)
Power Back - Wash (Stewart / Young)
Speed Back - Texas (Johnson / Charles)
Wide Receiver - Wash? Oregon?
Tight End - Texas (Rosario / Finley)
OT - Texas (Unger, Schwartz / Blalock, Hills)
OG - Texas ( / Dockery, Studdard)
C - Wash (Lucas / Sendlein)
Oregon's athletes on offense are about as good as it gets.
OSU, USC, LSU, Florida are on a different level than Oregon.

Oklahoma and Oegon have similar athleticism on offense, imo.

Stewart and Young are in no way a wash. Stewart is may be the greatest athlete in Oregon football history. I think tight end is a wash and I'd give the edge to Texas on o-line but a very slight one.

OSU, USC, LSU, and Florida may be on another level(though not as huge as some would make it out to be) when it comes to talent but certainly not athleticism.

What does Stewart's place in Oregon football history have to do with how he stacks up with Young? I think they are pretty comparable athletically.

So OSU doesn't have more athleticism on offense than the always defended ducks? Dixon is on par with Smith? Oregon has two guys like Gonzo & Ginn? Oregon has linemen as athletic as Boone, Barton, & Datish?

It really isn't this hard to understand. There's a difference between talent and athleticism. OSU, UF, LSU, USC, UT, etc. are far and away more talented but not far and away more athletic. Oregon has a couple guys who run a 4.4 40. Doesn't mean they can run routes like Gonzo or make the same catches that Ginn can.

And yes, Stewart is a better athlete than Young.
