Certainly. With a playoff we can eliminate rematches.

Anyone who insists on a playoff completely missed the point of last nights game.

The real point is that this season is better suited to a setup closer the OLD bowl system, perhaps with weaker conference tie-ins. The way things stand now, the best thing for this college football postseason would be for LSU to take a victory lap in the Sugar Bowl against some poor suckers from the ACC. The real question left unanswered so far is who's number two. Put Alabama and Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl and let them take care of a question that hasn't already been settled.
