The Yankee State?

You're kidding right Ginn & Juice?

Let me guess, your favorite color is clear.
I'm surprised in you Thump. I thought a smart ass educator like your self-indulgent weiner would have heard of "The Yankee State"????? It was a nickname for OHIO at one time...I just don't recall when. Are you referring to Mrs. Spurgeon's Ohio History class?

No it is not correct, it is not one of the two "recognized" state nicknames for Ohio.

Plus, he googled it anyways so he's a cheating fucker!
What do you mean by recognized? Once you give us the answer I want to see in the Ohio Revised Code where it gives another "recognized" nickname to the state. The only reference I can find to the state's nickname is in Section 5.01 where it discusses the official state flag.

Wow, did anyone know there is an official pledge to the Ohio flag? It's in the ORC, Section 5.01.3:

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>"I salute the flag of the state of Ohio and pledge to the buckeye state respect and loyalty" is hereby adopted as the official pledge to the state flag. The pledge shall not replace, preempt, or be recited before the pledge of allegiance to the United States flag.

</TD><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3></TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3 height=1></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> <!-- History --><!--
