The No. 2 Ohio State women's hockey team rebounded in game two of the home series against No. 1 Wisconsin with a 3-2 win Saturday at the OSU Ice Rink. The Buckeyes (12-3-2, 7-3-2 WCHA) hand the Badgers (13-1-0, 9-1-0 WCHA) their first loss of the season.

Women's Hockey Advances to WCHA Final Faceoff
The No. 2 women's hockey team opened up postseason play over the weekend with a dominant sweep of St. Thomas to advance to the WCHA Final Faceoff in Duluth, Minn. The Buckeyes took game one of the series by a 5-1 margin behind Mira Jungåker's four point performance followed by a 4-1 victory on Saturday to close out the series. Goalie Amanda Thiele picked up both wins for Ohio State stopping 25 of St. Thomas' 27 shots throughout the series.
The winner of the 2025 Kwik Trip WCHA Final Faceoff receives the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship.
