Ohio State vs. West Virginia (in Cleveland), Saturday Dec. 13, 8pm EST, ESPNU

He's on my personal Mt Rushmore of Favorite OSU BBall players

100%! Plays basically the entire game but is still the best player on the court in the last 2 minutes.

If I’m doing my math right, he will end the season as OSU’s all-time leading scorer if he continues to average 21 PPG over the next 21 games.

I think he’s in 9th at 1703 right now and Hopson is at 2096. 21 PPG for 21 more games is 441 so that would put him just past Hop.

What you said is true, although if he only averages 19 for 21 games, he’d still get 399 points and be at 2102, which would be enough.

I know, the rest of you were told there would be no math.

Glad you all enjoyed it. Taped the game, and watched eating dinner. But, tape ran out with 4 seconds left in regulation :(. So had to jump on U-tube to see how it came out. Sorry I missed both OTs. Anyway, believe we saw the coming-out party for Amare. Also, didn't think we'd win, as tOSU was missing 'bunnies', while WVA was pouring in 3's like no tomorrow. Heck, I was getting worried. But, to me at least, the difference was NOT, Bruce's lack of points, BUT that unlike Illini game, the Buckeyes MADE their free throws (unlike Illini game). Diebs probably had them make 30 in a row before they could shower, or somesuch. Anyway, great grit. Tilly seemed to play a better game than Knowles (sp?), this game. Do like that rotation (gives us more fouls to use), and now that Amare has 'come out', another option at the 4. PS, haven't seen anyone follow-up dunk like that since, can't remember....and finally, Devin (four fouls and all), was so very effective under the board, where he reverted from a 'strong 3', to a 'weak 4'. All in all, a great game, and hope the Buckeyes can/will build on it. PS, the refs seemed to be making good calls at time, and others not so much. Hate when the refs control the game, but it didn't seem so. PSS, no player EVER thinks they commited a foul....Go Bucks!

That’s true. I only used 21 PPG since that’s what he’s averaged this season.

Bruce is the man. That being said, no way OSU wins this without Bynum making a ton of plays, including a crucial deflection on the last inbounds pass which clinched the win.
Really fun to see Bynum quickly coming along. Really a wild game to watch in general, but that was a hell of a hard fought game. If anything else, hopefully we keep that fight and we'll see how it shakes out.

Truly believe that we saw the 'coming out' of Bynum. Thornton did what he does...and does it cool as a cucumber. Don't see any extra effort, but he's always in the right place. Bynum added a dimension to the offense. A follow-up slammer, is something longed for, but not readily seen from the Buckeyes. (Unless it's from the other team). Again, WVA was hitting 3's from incredible places, and tOSU was bungling bunnies all night. But, on the positive side, tOSU was making free throws! Like a team should. And tOSU showed some heart. Devin playing most of second half with four fouls, AND staying in the game. Huge. Liked the Tilly/Knowles substitution, early and often, keeping them fresh. Mobley did his share, but made some unfortunate, head-scratching fouls throughout. Anyway, on to the next. Look at the standings, and the B10 has more than several teams ranked, so far this year. Go Bucks!
