Game Thread Ohio State vs. Tulsa, 09/10/16 @ 3:30p ET, ABC/WatchESPN

That's a bit much... he was 14 of 22 I think but he had two huge drops both wide open on 3rd down that would've extended the drives. Not to mention JT had the call go against him with that pass to Dixon that should have been a catch.

That would've made him 19-22 with probably roughly 200 yards or so.

I thought the coaching staff didn't put them in good positions especially with early down play calling. WRs had a rough game too with dropped passes too. We also took basically zero shots deep due to the conditions
What I saw was poor decision making and some inaccuracies. I absolutely love JT, so my expectations are high, but, from my eyes, worst game I've seen from him.

I think that a young team learned quite a bit. The defense gained a lot of confidence. The coaches, who well may have been holding a lot back, will realize that they need to open up opposing defenses and spread the field.

Barrett says that the pass coverage in the first half confused him. It is clear that he got quite rattled. He still ended up with not bad numbers for the day and the second half was a much better performance.

Oklahoma will be a test, but I think it is one that the Buckeyes could pass by more than 10 points if these lessons are learned.
