Yup....that's new this season.I do the scoreboard for HS games and after 5 fouls they shoot 2. If the 5th foul is a charge or illegal screen, the team being fouled does not shoot. They just get possession.

There are slight changes from state to state in HS ball, but yes. For example, some states have a shot clock in HS.So the only place still stuck on the antiquated 1 and 1 is men's college hoops, where they still play halves instead of quarters.
NY state has a shot clock, PA doesn't. Living on the NY/PA border was always interesting come Xmas tournament time. There are slight changes from state to state in HS ball, but yes. For example, some states have a shot clock in HS.
I like those observations. Mahaffey seems like he has the tools, just seems off with court awareness.this was a tough gritty conference win. Rutgers impressed me with their defense so to geet a 2nd straight win vs a physical defense is def a plus. the team is so maddening bc at times they look like a top 15 squad and then they turn into a bottom feeder for long stretches. Still though we have some ballers. Battle is legit from 3 and i love me some Bruce and Roddy. Okpara gets more confident each time out especially on defense. Need more from mahaffey and key when things bog down though. Like what Ive seen from Middleton too.
You want 2 more chances each game to see the Buckeyes NOT get a ‘2-for-1’?So the only place still stuck on the antiquated 1 and 1 is men's college hoops, where they still play halves instead of quarters.
