PSU defense gave up just under 1,000 yards in its last two games against Minnesota and Indiana. Ryan Day must be licking his chops. He does as good a job as anyone in exploiting a teams weaknesses.

I expect PSU to get home on a couple blitzes early which will consequently kill a couple drives; therefore, I think the game is close for at least a quarter-and-a-half. Something like 7-7 or 7-3 in favor of either side.

At some point I think Day cracks the lock. Offensive line is too good to be stifled for an entire game. Maybe something along the lines of 28-17 good guys. I think that 19-point spread is straight ludicrous but I would be thrilled to be wrong.

Another concern is Borland trying to cover European tight end. We run a decent amount of base D according to my the eye test; if I’m those duck wards I try going at him on early downs through the air.

This is not a team that tries to run right at you. Need multiple guys who can run down the QB on the field.

I think our interior guys (Hamilton, Cornell, Landers, Togia) also get pressure up the middle. This game, more so than any other game we have played this year, is a statement game. Good guys are going to send a message to CFB playoff committee on Saturday.

We can't have Chase get suspended because of Franklin again, but I like where your head is at.
