Ohio State vs. Oregon rematch in National Championship?

Iowa at Iowa worries me and Michigan will play way over their heads, especially if the Bucks are undefeated.

The game at Wisconsin worries me far more than The Game. The only home games that should be competitive are Da U and State Penn.

FIFY

Were gonna pound 'Da U' like a fine pizza dough, like water on rock, like your mom on....

*ahem* Anyway, yeah - if wisky was any indication of our matchup. Our play in the trenches is going to make it a nightmare.

I have to side with Mili on this one. That was a very vanilla defense Iowa saw against Ohio State this past season. Once Ohio State turned up the intensity in OT, Iowa's inexperienced QB imploded.

Wisconsin is going to be scary. A strong defense, a very good running game and a team that plays much like Ohio State does and attempts to limit mistakes....

An early pick of course, but if I were to foresee another SEC team in the title game next year, I'd say it would most likely be Georgia.
Um, really? I'll give you credit for going out on a limb here, but they don't have a QB, a jumbled RB situation and lots 'o issues on defense. I see an 8-9 win team...tops. Would love to hear why you make that pick to be honest.

Agreed on Wiscy, they should be pretty formidable. But State Penn needs to find a QB and replace some studs on defense. I still think the Cryami hype was completely unjustified. I think we roll them fairly comfortably.

Da U will not be competitive. You will crush them. Sadly, this may be the catalyst for Wandy's downfall.

If both our lines play well and Da U's lines play like they did against Wiscy, we should roll all over them. Still, they have solid athletes and we still have to play and execute well.

Vanilla defense, or a defense that only had to defend 30/40 yards deep? A defense that only needed to stop the touchdown? I was very impressed by how well Iowa's lines handled both sides of the ball -- this with a team relying on their third and fourth string running backs and a true freshman QB, on the road, in one of the acknowledged death valleys of college football.

Not to take anything anyway from Tress or the Bucks, they played vanilla because they could afford to, because it was the smart thing to do, because the situations all but dictated it. And it worked.
