Ohio State vs. Michigan

This is a team completely out of sync. That won't change until Evan comes back...and then it still isn't a guarantee.

You don't lose a player of that caliber and just keep rolling.

Congrats to TSUN today...they played hard and deserved it.

Even with ET back, the team has a ton of deficiencies. He covers some of them up, but overall, I'm just not impressed with the team. Madsen is the backup big man? Just not talented enough. Plus, even when teams like Wisconsin and Northwestern lack some talent, they still play within themselves and don't turn the ball over all the time, which keeps them in games.

Turner will help, A LOT, but the Big Ten is going to be a tough road.

All of our one and done bigs and a lack of quality depth at guard has taken its toll on this team. ET is the glue that holds this team together, he and Lighty are the only guys who can create and get their own shot.

This team has to finish strong when ET comes back and will reload next year. Just too many recruits leaving before they were ready and too many misses at the PG position. I still believe this team will peak late in the season and make some noise by the Big10 tourney. Go Bucks

whens turner back? we are really hurting now, and could use a big boost. during the wisky game, they showed the buckeyes ppg stats from when ET was and wasnt in the lineup. we are down 18 points, like 12 boards and 8 assists (something like that). hopefully ET will be back soon!

Our national ranking is about gone, the Bucks need to step their game up or the post season may be in question....this team NEEDS a post player, some one who can give the offense 10pts, and 5 boards. Totally different team with a post presence.

Dallas was a tip shot away from scoring 10 and he had 8 boards and 2 blocks. To me that is "a" post player, but I completely agree we need another. Lauderdale's conditioning isnt perfect and the refs swallowed their whistles today which helped, but still Dlaud could only play 27 minutes. I see Madsen is giving it his all out there and you see he is frustrated too, but he is just overmatched. I cannot believe that Big Z, with his height and weight is not good enough to see the floor.

I am not joking when I say this, when ET comes back, I really wonder if he should move to center when Dallas goes out. Whats a better lineup?

Is there anything that Madsen can do that Turner can't? I guess foul trouble for ET is the concern, but to me if ET has 0 fouls or its the second half and hes sitting there with 1 or 2, I dont see how you can put Madsen out there come tournament time. It was really telling on that beautiful pass by Lighty, Madsen fumbled it, didnt know what to do and was rejected. Manny made the same pass to Sims and it was an easy dunk. Im not trying to bash KM, I just dont believe he even thought he would be playing this much (based on his former membership in club tril.)

I really am wondering what the future holds for Big Z and Kecman as well. It just seems crazy to me that there are 4 big guys on this team and only Lauderdale can really produce anything (or see the court).

Hope would be that he dresses for the Indiana game, but doesnt play till the minnesota game. Wont really know anything till the X-rays tomorrow, but thats the hope. He can run in short bursts, he can jump, and they say theres no danger of reinjuring it, so I bet for a game, the adrenaline will kick in and he will be able to play. Maybe a bit off for a while.

I admit that I am disappointed in the teams play without ET. Michigan is not that good and still opened up the can of whup azz. I guess my expectations for the individual players was too high.

I really don't know where to start so I will start at the beginning of the game. As soon as Michigan jumped out to an early lead I almost knew that we were going to lose that game. It always happens let a bad team, and Michigan is a bad team, stick around for a while and it will always come back to bite you at the end.

I do not think that we played very well defensively and almost wished that they had played more zone. Sometimes there were two guys going out to block a shot and that just leaves things wide open. Dallas has got to learn that he cannot block anything especially shots taken from 10 feet away from the basket and he is at the midway point. He needs to stay down closer to the basket and now wander too far from it. I also don't think we played with much intensity at the defensive end and our best defender, Lighty, seem to get stuck with someone underneath the basket who had a height advantage and he was taken a few times. We just don't seem to play team defense very well. Sometimes it looks like a Chinese fire drill.

Offensively, I know that we do not have Turner but I have no idea what type of offense we were playing. Many times the guys just seem to stand while Lighty was dribbling around the half-court line with about 10 seconds left on the shot clock. I know as mentioned above that Dallas had eight points and eight boards but he really is not a true post presence where you can pass the ball into him and he can create something for himself or for one of the other players. Yesterday, we also seem not to have a PG and I do not think that having David handling the ball so much outside helps us. He needs to be closer to the basket and help rebound. Shoot, WB had double-figure rebounds.

I'm afraid this team is really going to struggle until we get Turner back and then maybe you can just drop the "really". I am certainly not looking forward to playing at Minnesota and, especially Purdue. Hopefully we can handle we can handle Indiana this Wednesday at home.

I know nobody on the team likes to lose and are much more frustrated than any of us but I have to vent every now or then so there was and I feel a little bit better.

Turner makes the whole offense run, mainly by driving to the hoop and making shots or kicking the ball out to open teammates whose defenders have left their man to play helpside defense after turner has beaten his defender. Turner's just one of those guys who you cannot easily replace, and OSU has been struggling to find a groove without him on the offensive end.

Winning any Big Ten game on the road without Turner is going to be tough. UM and UW were just fortunate enough to catch us without Turner and with the games at their home courts. Fortunately for us, with Turner, I think we're one of the top 3 teams in the Big Ten, behind only MSU and Purdue.
