Do you see it as the game not having slowed down for him yet, or just not making decisions quickly enough?
Seems like he goes through phases of great indecision and then a few drives like in the 2nd Q he gets much more comfortable and commits quickly, leading to chunk plays and easy scores.
Not sure how much they ran hurry up in the 2nd half, but I think he'd benefit greatly from more of it. Especially early in the game and out of the half.
Overall, like you say, this is pretty amazing to see what he does and know he could probably be much better next year. Makes beautiful throws every game.
Maybe. However, of the last 19 Heisman winners, 16 have played QB and only 3 played RB.If we can forget about Fields for Heisman, can we say Dobbins for Heisman?
and my oldies station is playing...
Just Walrus sounds.just trying to get my head around this
shouldn't your oldies station just be playing dinosaur yells or something?
Too early to tell if its systemic, or if he is still adapting to our offense. There is certainly some inconsistency, because he looks amazing at times. And I can't see what he is seeing, maybe he is avoiding throwing some interceptions for all I know without the benefit of some Sunday film. Maybe its a little bit of both. I just think with our receiving corps, he's gotta be missing some reads. In any event, pretty happy with his play as we near near the halfway point of this year and he is only going to get better imo.
