Game Thread Ohio State vs Michigan State - 10/05/19, 7:30PM (ABC)

Would love for this team to start strong. Aside from that, there isn’t much to complain about. I feel like these coaches like to feel the game out, then make the early adjustment. As soon as the team starts to adjust to that, Ohio State adjusts again.

Stay one step ahead.
They started as strong as you could last week.

This is true. But we’ve had some slow starts, too. All about perfecting every facet of the game. This team has what it takes to be raising a trophy at the end of the year if they continue to buy in.
I feel you. I kind of was expecting a slow start this week. Sparty has the best defense we've seen all year. I'm just glad they adjusted as best as you could and exposed it. Ryan Day and this coaching staff deserve a lot of credit, for sure.

I hear what you’re saying about the faster starts. Of course I think we’d all like that ever game. That said, what I’m most impressed with is the speed by which the staff makes adjustments when things do not start quick. They seem to be very fast in diagnosing what’s being shown to them and then making adjustments from there. What’s even more impressive is that it’s happening on both sides of the line.
