Remember the heckler in Major League, reminding everyone how bad this will go and how he predicted it? Yeah, so do I. That's kind of what I expect here every day :p
If things do in fact go badly tonight, I hereby commit to not saying anything about my prediction.

I really hope the Good Buckeyes show up tonight, but I fear they will not return until David Lighty is back in the lineup. :(

Fair enough. You and BKatt can fire up some old dvds and take out your frustration on Ron Lewis' drive choices.

I think many of us are afraid of that.

Hey, I didn't have a problem with him driving. I had a problem with him NOT driving enough.

Hey, I really hope they win and I'm certain they are a capable of winning, but my expectations for this season shot way too high a couple weeks ago and they have come crashing down, probably below where they should be.

You know I'll be watching and rooting for them tonight (and every game), just with tempered hopes for a victory for tonight.

Now I understand why you were on the floor in the fetal position when Ron threw up the 3 against Xavier.

I watch all my favorite teams from the fetal position. Holdover tradition from the Cooper years.

I'm telling you.....you can have Devendorf. Devo drives to the basket all the time. Scoring instead of turning it over? Don't worry about that. We'll take Lauderdale since you guys don't use him anymore.

Randy Ayers would be all over that trade if he was still at OSU.

OSU-Michigan State preview

Tuesday, January 6, 2009 3:00 AM
By Bob Baptist
THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
OHIO STATE VS. MICHIGAN STATE
7 tonight
? Where: Breslin Center, East Lansing, Mich.
? TV: ESPN2
? Radio: WBNS-AM (1460), WBNS-FM (97.1)
? Records: Ohio State 10-2 overall, 1-1 Big Ten; Michigan State 11-2, 2-0

? Matchup to watch: Michigan State has the depth and tenacity to wear down Ohio State, as Minnesota did, and make it difficult for the Buckeyes to run their offense, much less score. Look for the Spartans to pressure Jeremie Simmons and P.J. Hill, and for Evan Turner, as he did at Minnesota, to perhaps have to share the responsibility of advancing the ball across half-court.

? Notable: Ohio State has won two of its past three games in the Breslin Center but overall is 3-13 there. Michigan State rebounded more than half its missed shots in wins at Minnesota and Northwestern to start the Big Ten schedule. For the first time in history, the Spartans started conference play with two road wins. Michigan State has outscored seven opponents by nearly 19 points per game since a 35-point loss to North Carolina in Detroit on Dec. 3.

? Next: Houston Baptist, 7 p.m. Friday, Value City Arena
if we had trouble against Minnesota's. We are really going to be in trouble if the Spartans decide to put the pressure on our guards. We must limit our turnovers and get on the boards with them or this might get ugly.
