Couple things....

1. Stop the under center on early downs

2. Mix it up on first down

3. Stop being afraid to call QB runs.

This offense will not perform if we don't allow Field to literally stretch his legs. I hope this is because we know we will dominate them regardless.

Staff and team testing the waters and FAU is the team to do this with. Under center isn't what we have seen in a while and will take adjustment in real time situations. Mix it up under center on early downs. Especially 2nd qt though run game should not be this difficult even with a stacked box.

Honestly I'm still happy as fuck. Defense was what I was worried about the most and they've alleviated a lot of my fears. Just absolutely stellar play.

Offense looked amazing then like shit. I have to think it'll get corrected though. Not sure what they were doing the second quarter though.

Yep. Have to expect that Fields will struggle some and the OL has to gel. But the defense only giving up 3 or so 1st downs is great.

The under center stuff is obviously going to be part of the offense, so you might as well get reps in it. They might move away from it in the 2nd half.
