And when you can't hit even the wide wide wide open ones.....well.....4 points in the final 5:50. All while being in the bonus.
I see 0 creativity on offense.

If he loses that game, I'm done. As I was watching the last 10 minutes last night, all that filled my head was "here we go again." Holtmann is a good man, and an excellent ambassador for the program, but we're in year 7 and he still hasn't advanced the program past the round of 32, is coming off a losing season, and hasn't coached a team that looks dangerous past the New Year. Take away his first year, and he's <.500 in the B1G (50-53). It's put up or shut up time.Next game is at TCUN and they're trotting out their ill-gotten CFP trophy to rub it in our faces.
If Holtmann loses to those 6-9 shit fucks...
I'll add that it is inexcusable with the guys we have on this team. There is serious talent and a blend of experience that should make this a top 1/3 of the B1G/Sweet 16 run type of team. If we don't get there, CH needs canned immediately. The scenario I mentioned is completely attainable...everyone says "well we're not a basketball school" and that is true. But to have the results we've seen under CH falls short of that whole argument and you referenced the statistics to prove it.If he loses that game, I'm done. I don't expect prime-Matta results consistently, that was a "moment in time" thing and the landscape of CBB has changed since those amazing days. But we should be able to attract the talent and coach them up enough to make a tourney run once every couple of years, if not more. We have the resources to be better than this.I'll add that it is inexcusable with the guys we have on this team. I mean…Nebraska is 13-3 and holding serve at home including wins over Indiana and #1 Purdue.I don't expect prime-Matta results consistently, that was a "moment in time" thing and the landscape of CBB has changed since those amazing days.
