Per Data, OSU Fans Expected to Greatly Outnumber UW Fans at Rose Bowl
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but there’s going to be a lot of Buckeye fans at a place where Ohio State football will be played.
Known for being some of the best-traveling fans in any realm of entertainment, a large number of Buckeye fans have begun heading west.
Based upon data from Vivid Seats, it appears that the Rose Bowl will be decked out in much more Scarlet and Gray than Purple and Gold, and from the looks of things, it could be at least two-thirds Buckeye fans on January 1.
Despite taking place 2,300 miles from Ohio State’s campus, this could end up looking almost like a home game for the Buckeyes.
Of course, playing on the road and seeing a majority of scarlet in the stadium is nothing new. It even happened earlier in the year when Ohio State played TCU in Dallas, which is 20 miles from the Horned Frogs’ campus.
One of the most well-known examples of Buckeye fans’ ability to travel came in 2013 when they outnumbered California fans in Cal’s own stadium.
And who can even keep track anymore of all of the times Buckeye fans have been able to chant O-H-I-O around Michigan Stadium?
