Cooper did some things that SimpLLLLLe Jim hasn't, but the underlying feeling was the same. You knew no matter how good a team he had that he'd find some way to fuck it up, yet still do enough to keep his job so he could come back and punch you in the nuts again next year.

All true, we were never going to win the big ones, but still the ceiling was so much higher with Cooper than Harbaugh. HOF

To truly understand it - you need to suffer the pain of defeats ... and you have not.

For example ....I recognize some of the venom spewed on this thread… It was brewed in the 90s.

Over the next 364 days I will obsess about recruiting and how this team can be built to beat Ohio. I can only damn well hope that Michigan coaching are doing the same.... the fear lingers that they are not.

I would never cheer for Aohio. Like I said - I would cheer for an ISIS college team coached by Hitler before I would ever cheer for the buckeyes. Do I hope you beat the SEC… You must be kidding me.

I welcome Clemson Georgia LSU or any school to throttle you.

The downside of the SEC beating you ..if there is any downside - is listening to the SEC chirp about how great their conference is. That was my point. I would welcome those SEC Snipes and chirps over you beating any SEC at any time. Don’t ever worry about “us “ Cheering for you under any circumstances. I would rather be dead.
