It simply shouldn't be so puzzling. I get that things change with Haskins at QB, but I think it's silly that all of a sudden it's a mystery on the ground.

I'm convinced it's schematic. They didn't have near the threat throwing the ball last year but the running game was almost always there.

Yes you have to change it around a bit - keep a TE in to block more, wham blocks and counters and whatnot.

I went to the first two games that season. MoC rushed for 175 vs Texas Tech and 230 vs Washington State.

And we don't even want to compare that defense to this year's version.
