UH, seeing as this is "Pro Day", why are those not eligible for the draft even participating?

it's NFL Pro scout day from wht I understand, so those eligible for the draft are getting a feel for where they would be drafted. Or in the case of Hawk, he helps to raise his fame by showing great 40 times to match his ability at LB, and then he's on everyone's list before his spectacular senior season. Not that he wasn't already, but you get the point.
