UH, seeing as this is "Pro Day", why are those not eligible for the draft even participating?

I think the best example of why underclassmen participate is Drew Carter--he ran like a 4.2 after his Junior year at OSU's Pro Day! That helped draw attention to him (1) because he hadn't gotten much playing time his first three years of eligibility, and (2) because he ripped his knee apart his senior year, when he did get playing time, and that 40-time from the year before showed the pros how fast he is/was.

Another reason to test as a junior at pro day is to simply go through the combine experience. The run through will take away some of the jitters when going through it for real.

Slower than Brandon Joe and almost as slow as Simon Fraser.
