If Kenpom was worth a damn, a #30 Ohio State shouldn't have been challenged by #98 Pitt, but here we are. Again.

Embarrassing loss. Made possible by a poor first half and ticky tack fouls keeping Pitt in it at the end. Credit for Pitt making the big shot at the end, but this type of loss is very discouraging.

Part of the problem is OSU struggled giving up second chances. Just seemed like there wasn't a presence in the paint for OSU in terms of defensive rebounding. It's wild when 6-2 Bruce Thornton leads the team in rebounds by far.

Yeah….we could have had Dusty May but we felt we had a decent gamble for cheap with Diebler. He doesn’t show that instinct or vibe for winning close ones. Hope he miraculously turns it around.

Also, every arena should have the same rim tightness. Nobody is gonna convince me that everyone’s rims are the same. Every damn shot they took from 15 feet or farther that was missed literally bounced 10 feet off the rim. It is very difficult to grab rebounds when that happens. Pitt got every loose ball out of bounds also. There were at least 3 questionable ones in the last 5 minutes alone that could’ve easily been called our ball.

Tully definitely plays smaller than his size. On one of those late offensive rebounds, it was a missed three an Tully is turning to block someone out near the 3 point line instead of going g after the ball.
