Running up points on weaker teams late in games. Buckeye second half was ugly this week, but pkayers got experience, no one got injured, and PSU saw nothing. I think this game goes late and the offense needs to roll to win. Ibalso look for 200+ yards on the ground.I find it interesting that the Pedsters have scored 2/3 (149/222) of their total points in the second half/overtime. Hopefully we can get off to a fast start and take the crowd out of the game early.
Yep... thats what they do. One of the reasons why I hate Franklin and that program.Running up points on weaker teams late in games. Still won't touch it.-4.5 now
There's no such thing as taking that dumb fuck crowd out of the game. I was there in the 90s when we were kicking their asses. They didn't belong on the same field. Then they got a first down and those idiots started cheering like they just scored a 12 pt touchdown.I find it interesting that the Pedsters have scored 2/3 (149/222) of their total points in the second half/overtime. The Zombie Nation moniker fits...There's no such thing as taking that dumb fuck crowd out of the game. I was there in the 90s when we were kicking their asses. They didn't belong on the same field. Then they got a first down and those idiots started cheering like they just scored a 12 pt touchdown.
We lost that game, somehow.
The way I look at it is who can move the ball if they become 1 dimensional? I think that more depicts us. The only equalizer is the big play. So eliminate the big play and I don't see them making enough stopsAll day long.
Bucks are 4 and 0 (3-0-1 if you got it later) against the spread. Peds are 3-1, with the 1 loss coming at home.
They've yet to be challenged by a good program but narrowly missed being upset by Appy, who is decent. Buckeyes are battle tested. PSU gets the home field advantage which is worth about 3pts typically. Just by the averages we are 1 point bettter statistically.
Excellent job once again by DBB on the stats. The whole story is going to be told in the trenches even though plays will be made at the skill positions all over the field. I'm taking the Buckeye front 7 to put PSU in more 3rd and longs than they can solve. I actually expect the Buckeyes to establish the running game earlier on Saturday night also keeping the defense off the field for longer periods of time. Buckeyes should make more plays than PSU throughout and come away with a second major road victory. Buckeyes 45-30.
that's a god damn first.knock on wood but the weather is supposed to be nice. Clear, cool, dry and no wind.
OSU is going to need the passing game so hopefully that holds up
they better be hammering home the skill of turning around for the 50/50 jump ball. because that's about 90% of that little shit's throws. The way I look at it is who can move the ball if they become 1 dimensional? Not that we will do this but I wish we would load the box and make McSorely beat us through the air. I don't think he can consistently do that because besides fade routes from 30 yards out his game is pretty average.
