Game Thread Ohio State @ Penn State - 09/29/18, 7:30PM (ABC)

A society that has become unable to deal with anything that they don't like, apparently.

Instead of having the internal coping mechanisms to deal with whatever they find offensive, people now expect the offensive to be proactively removed from the world by someone else.

Kind of like their mothers did for them their whole lives.
You say that like a man who decidedly does not have a "gluten allergy"

I'm not offended and I do believe that people that ARE offended are being silly, but......what would we have had said about PSU had they had a similar release right after the Sandusky stuff went down? We would have had a field day.

Maybe so, but Sandusky was just a bit bigger of a story. I mean, it was covered by real reporters with jobs and everything.

We would have, but we don't like them. PSU fan's would have been saying the same thing that we are. That story, like this one, would change no one's opinion on PSU.

Comparing the Sandusky stuff to the Meyer stuff is quite a stretch

Oh definitely. Plus the facts are completely different here in that there was no cover-up going on by Meyer or OSU -- regardless of the media's portrayal.

Is it kowtowing to the media/mob to NOT use this graphic? Definitely....however sometimes it's worth it not to kick the hornet's nest. Just in my IMO.
