Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

The NCAA has officially approved an additional year of eligibility for spring sports athletes, but winter sports athletes whose seasons ended abruptly will not get a year back.
.
.
.
That said, the NCAA will allow spring sports teams to exceed the scholarship limits for their respective sports for the 2020-21 academic year in order to accommodate seniors who are getting an additional year of eligibility in addition to incoming freshmen.

According to https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/m-tennis/roster/ Kyle Seelig is the only Senior (actually a red shirt Senior), does anybody have any inside information as to if wants to come back next year? Also, is JJ Tracy good enough to bump into the top 6?

Ty Tucker, Men’s Tennis

+ Last night was a happy time.

+ “I just want to feel like a coach again.” He was able to feel like a coach again last night. It was great to call Kyle Seelig who was the only senior on the team and tell him he could come back. His family was happy as well.

+ The compliance department has done an unbelievable job handling his concerns. “I don’t know if the other coaches are as wild as I am…”

+ Kyle would have done anything to get an opportunity to come back. A year ago they had four seniors, and that would have been a tough situation. This year he got off easy with one senior.

+ It would be devastating to miss out on Ohio State football because he’s a fan and an alum. He doesn’t like too many things better than Ohio State tennis, but Ohio State football is one of them.

+ There are zero tennis players who are on full scholarship.

Maybe Kyle Seelig is coming back for another year.....:banger:

I have no idea what the other team's top guys are doing; however, guys like #1 Daniel Cukierman (at USC) will be 25 and #2 Yuya Ito (at Texas) will be 24 next Spring (i.e. tennis season) so you have to think some of the top players on other potential contending teams won't be back. If Ohio State does have everyone return (especially with the Freshman having a year under their belt) the Buckeyes should be legit contenders for the National Championship (again).
