I might be remembering incorrectly, but I feel that Boulais has been struggling in singles.

Two thoughts re. Bucks early March slump,
1. This road trip phenomenon may be expected each year as team transitions to prepare for outdoor season.
2. Re. Lineup options, UTR is generally a reliable gauge for strength of individuals on the team.
At one time Boulais had the #3 rating, I.e. playing at a high level and was rightly placed #3 in the lineup,
however he should be a high school senior, and is naturally adjusting, struggling with play at collegiate levels.

If there are options forward Wondering if Tim Siebert might give some experience as part of the lineup.

The Big Ten Conference announced today that in addition to the Men’s Basketball Tournament it will be canceling all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year, and participation in all NCAA tournaments and competitions. In addition, the Conference has announced a moratorium on all on- and off-campus recruiting activities for the foreseeable future.

The Big Ten Conference will use this time to work with the appropriate medical experts and institutional leadership to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The main priority of the Big Ten Conference continues to be the health, safety and wellness of our student-athletes, coaches, administrators, fans and media as we continue to monitor all developing and relevant information on the COVID-19 virus.

MEN'S TENNIS
After finishing the regular season No. 2 and a run to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament last year, the Buckeyes had high expectations coming into 2020. Even with one of the best players in collegiate tennis leaving for a professional career, Ohio State returned a talented roster capable of making another run.

Ohio State opened the season hot, defeating four top-ten teams in the indoor season. The Buckeyes earned the top-seed in the reaching Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Indoor National Championships. The team fell in the semifinals to North Carolina. After failing to repeat as indoor national champions, the Buckeyes skidded to begin the outdoor season, dropping road matches to Georgia and Stanford before ending the streak with a home victory over Penn State.

At the time of the spring sports cancellation, Ohio State was in prime position to earn its fifth consecutive Big Ten title. As the No. 5 team in the nation, the Buckeyes were by far the conference's highest-ranked team.



Ty Tucker, Ohio State's tennis coach and reigning Big Ten Coach of the Year, was also returning two 2019 First Team All-Big Ten members in John McNally (No. 13 in singles this year) and Kyle Seelig (No. 29 in singles this year). Additionally, freshman Cannon Kingsley was looking like a rising star and was ranked as the No. 14 singles player in the nation.

Buckeye Doubles were led by the number 3 ranked team in NCAA John McNally & Freshmen Robert Cash . Cash led the Buckeyes with 24 wins w only 5 losses .They defeated 2 team from TTUN to win the ITA regional championship and reached the finals of ITA Fall Nationals . In addition they held the number 1 spot in rankings defeating 6 top 20 teams . They were the highest ranked Team with both players from American [ohio] . Buckeye teams of Boulais -Trotter and Kingsley-Seelig went 19-5 . In 2020-2021 Buckeyes add one of the best doubles players in the country JJ Mercer and freshmen JJ Tracy .
