Just sayin': And there are least least 6 guys on the team rated higher than Stearns. This Buckeye men's tennis team has to be very deep and a legit contender for a Natty. Hopefully, 2026 is finally the year.....:boogie:

Ohio State secures spot in both singles and doubles at NCAA Championships
Ohio State secured spots at the NCAA Individual Championships later this fall for the doubles team of Aidan Kim and Bryce Nakashima as well as Preston Stearns in singles after the completion of the 2025 ITA Midwest Regional at the XS Tennis Center in Chicago Monday.

Stearns advanced to the regional singles final with a win over fellow Buckeye Jack Anthrop, 6-2, 7-6(4), in the semifinals. Stearns and Michigan's Max Dahlin did not contest the finals match with each already earning a spot in the NCAA Championships.

re. Preston Stearns… his run at the regional was exceptional, esp the upsets over teammates Byers and Anthrop.
Five huge wins total for Stearns as a #9 seed makes him worthy of the prestigious invite to the fall championships in Orlando.
BTW, his older sister Peyton is currently ranked #52 on the wta circuit. Hit #28 in the world last May after some impressive wins on clay surface tournaments.
Would love to see her very talented sibling at OSU (Preston’s) game explode this year.
