Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

Three Buckeyes earn singles invitations and one OSU team is in the ITA Fall national tournament which starts today.


“Four members of the Ohio State men's tennis have qualified for the ITA Fall National Championships this week in San Diego, Calif. Jack Anthrop, JJ Tracy, Alexander Bernard and Robert Cash will all be competing this week at the Barnes Tennis Center. Action gets underway on Wednesday and the championship matches will take place on Sunday afternoon….

Singles and doubles match both start on Wednesday. Tracy starts the day for the Buckeyes at 1:45 p.m. ET against Pau Fanlo of Memphis. Anthrop will take on Daniel Sancho Arbizu of Denver at 2:15 p.m. ET and Bernard will play Enzo Aguiard of Alabama at 3:30 p.m. In doubles, Cash and Tracy open against Nic Wiedenhorn and Anton Shepp of Nebraska at 8:30 p.m.”

Not to belabor this, as it appears that ship has sailed, but cannot Kingsley compete in the pros, as long as he doesn't collect a paycheck? Golfers can compete with the pros, but if they take cash, zip goes their eligibility. Just using logic....which may not belong in college athletics? Tennis team might start to rival synchro swimming someday soon....Go Bucks!
