Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)



Trotter wins (2-5, 6-4, 6-3) point #4. Ohio State wins 4-1 and advances to play the winner of the Wake Forest/South Carolina State match tomorrow at 5 PM at the Wake Forrest Tennis Center.

Memo: Kingsley is still undefeated; but when play was stopped he was down 6-7, 6-2, 2-4 (30-0) though.

#35 Ohio State beats #9 Wake Forest 4-1

1. Cash and McNally hold at love to win 6-3 on court 2. Kingsley and Tracy comeback from 0-40 to hold and win the match 6-4.

2. JJ Tracy puts the second point on the board with a solid 6-3, 6-3 victory on court 6.

3. James Trotter makes it 3-0 Buckeyes with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court 3!!

X. Wake gets on the board with a 6-4, 7-5 win on court one.

4. Kyle Seelig!!! He wins a deuce point and takes the second set 7-5. Buckeyes win 4-1!!

The graduates include All-Americans, NCAA qualifiers, all-conference selections and conference champions. Among the standouts …
  • Kyle Seelig, of the men’s tennis team, has been with the program since 2015 and was a key member of the team’s 2019 ITA Indoor National Championship and the 2018 NCAA Tournament runner-up finish. He has played in over 200 singles and doubles matches.

Hi everyone, can't remember the last time I've posted on here. But if some remember me, but I live in Orlando, and am at the USTA National Campus. Very excited to see the Buckeyes again, let's hope they have a better run in Orlando than they did in 2019.

Ohio State needs to win 4 of these matches, it's just not looking real good here.

Ohio State 1 - TCU 1

#6 Tracy (3-6, 6-1) comes back to win the 2nd set. #3 Trotter (6-7, 2-3) is on serve in the 2nd set.

However, #2 Kingsley (4-6, 4-5), #4 Boulais (2-6, 0-5) and #5 Seeling (4-6, 1-4) are digging themselves in a hole.

Sort of surprising that Cash is not playing. I thought this season was going to be one of their better ones… guess not:sad:
