When the Spring 2020 schedule was posted, I noted this early February run of matches,
"this will be THE test for a young Buckeye squad. If they can salvage a 2-2 split or possibly a 3-1 record, it would offer something for the team to build on."
Bucks will host FOUR elite tennis powers over the next two weeks; #25 Arizona State (2/7), #3 USC (2/9), and #9 Texas A&M (2/11).
The best comes first, because this Saturday (2/1) at noon, #1 ranked and defending champion Texas Longhorns invade the Varsity Tennis Center.
....
Wow did I underestimate how hungry and talented was this young team. Four ranked and Three top ten teams arrived at Columbus in early Feb. including defending NCAA champs, and two different number 1 ranked squads. I would have felt satisfied with 2-2 but Bucks went 4-0!
Next up defending the ITA national indoor title this weekend in Wisconsin.
First round begins Friday Bucks versus the home team badgers.
