All my fault, and I ain't kidding. 7-2 Buckeyes leading when I turned it on and the Buckeyes didn't score again until 3rd qtr? I am not superstitious except when I'm wearing my lucky hat and underwear. Pretty sure I fucked it up. Damnit.

Well, that was an interesting game. They started so strong, but you knew that DU wasn't going to go do tha easy. I didn'tt expct the DU run to go as long as it did. I did figurer that it was gong to take 15 goals to win the game.

All in all, flashes of brillian play... and some, what appeared to be, tired legs on D. We had opportunites and didn't put the ball in the back of the net. We also got burned on the attack finishing from X a little too easy.

Have to ditch to go coach shortly... I know that I"m going to catch a bunch of crap from a few of my kids who are Hops fans. Believe me, Hops has it much harder today than we did last night.

And beating three of the remaining final four this year...

And playing in a conference (successfully) that placed 1/2 of the final four and a guaranteed championship team.

The B1G had a heck of an inaugural year. Of course one could say that aside from tOSU the success were new to the league, but don't matter nothing, son. That's our regular season schedule...

Hell of a year. Congrats to Nick and his young men.

FYI, Denver followed up their quarterfinal win over the Buckeyes by knocking off top seed Notre Dame, 11-10. This pleases me because fuck ND. The Pioneers will face another Big Ten team - Maryland - who knocked off Johns Hopkins 12-11 in the other semifinal.

Interesting that the Buckeyes scored victories this season over both eventual championship game participants.

For the second time in three years the Bucks were eliminated from the tournament by the eventual champion. Denver won it all, 10-5 over Maryland.
