There is no coaching, guys just seem to do whatever they want. Seems Holtmann just gets comfortable every year after they look decent through December and says "just do whatever you guys want".

Time for a change.

How many chairs do you think Bobby Knight would have launched by now? If you can’t hit from the outside knight would have designed some plays to get open shots within the paint…

Yeah I'm officially done. This *ichigan team couldn't hit the broadside of a barn and they're all of the sudden sharp shooters. Meanwhile we're just running around with our pants down looking like we have no semblance of offense, we can't hit a shot and there's zero cohesion or ball movement.

I hate to be so bleak, but it's truly bleak. If we lose this one, it might be time to just pull the plug even though I know we won't.

I think we are entering the territory where we cut Holtmann and just ride out the season with Diebler as Head Coach to see if he has anything to offer. At least we may find if he’s a diamond in the rough and possibly hire him on the cheap for 3 seasons to help offset the buyout of CH

Gene Smith’s legacy is looking worse and worse by the day.
1. He stupidly gave up the 2012 season for a crappy 6-6 2011 team to lose to UF in a meaningless bowl
2. He never supported Meyer during the witch hunt of 2018
3. He should have publicly fought to have M play at Columbus in 2021 due to their suspiciously sudden Covid outbreak
4. He extended an already beleaguered Chris Holtmann in 2022 despite declining results
5. He was radio silence during the M cheating scandal


Gene was an empty suit
