JT gets little help from his receivers at times. While he misses passes at times, his receivers have also failed to make catches and plays at crucial times. My concerns about Barrett are not just today. He has missed a multitude of wide open receivers that last six games. I know it was very windy, but wind does not explain the problem. Indiana is playing against TSUN right now and hitting long passes against them in a wind similar to what Ohio State saw. There are issues that need to be addressed and I don't think that they will be addressed in a week.

The play calling would be fine if 1) JT was throwing a good ball...he is not. I love him, but he is not. And 2) when he does throw a good ball, we seem to drop a few.I agree, it will be a close and hard fought game. I'm not worried about JT. I am worried about our offensive game approach. The play calling is schizophrenic at best, has no rythmn, and makes no sense whatsoever. If it works, we stop doing it and if it doesn't work, well do it some more. It seems like Webber and Samuel disappear for long stretches. And where the hell has Noah Brown been? Did he even play today? Warriner and Beck are unable or unwilling to make in game adjustments based on what the defense is doing. The offensive line turtles against aggressive pressure defense and is missing any form of nastiness. If scUM comes hard at us like P$U and Sparty did....well.....
Have to disagree. We were moving the ball well on the ground on a number of drives, then inexplicably we start throwing. Totally threw off the rhythm of the drive. The play calling would be fine if 1) JT was throwing a good ball...he is not. I love him, but he is not. It isn't the play calling so much as the execution - especially today.
You can't just call runs all day long. It just doesn't work. Yeah it was tough, but this isn't anything new withJT. His accuracy is lacking.Have to disagree. I don't recall one Jet, any misdirection, or a counter play. I just don't think the OCs are utilizing the players effectively against the defensive schemes.
Again tough day to throw the ball. If you want to throw, it would have been a good day for short middle routes to Baugh and Noah. I think I saw one or 2 of those.
Woody would like a word with you. You do it until they stop it and then go to something else and come back to it. Don't get me wrong I don't care that they threw it today, but you have to be smart about your plays on a day like today. JT was obviously struggling and yet the OCs insisted on forcing the issue. You can't just call runs all day long. It just doesn't work. Yeah it was tough, but this isn't anything new withJT.
