I watched the second half. Effort was there, play wasn't bad, just didn't get a couple to drop the last two mins and they did.

I was thinking the same damn thing when I was watching the game and sure enough he took that 3 pointer late in the game which put us in a deeper hole. Until he learns to shoot free throws he should be limited to 2 feet as you recommend. He also needs to quit forcing things around the basket and realize that he is not 6'9"+. I do not want to take away his enthusiasm but every man has his limitations and Tate's limitations are starting to wear on me.
