Ohio State 81 Jacksonville 68 (Final)

Best Buckeye

Pretending I'm a pleasant person is exhausting.

On Weds the Dolphins of Jacksonville come to town to test our Buckeyes.
Game time is 9 pm and is slated to be shown on ESPNU.
The Dolphins have won their last 2 games after losing their first 5.
Looks like a warm up game for the Buckeyes. They have two players scoring in double digits and Ben Smith is the leader at over 18.

I'd like to see a full game played by our boys. No lack of intensity for large periods of time. From start to stop big defensive intensity and great team basketball on offense. Use this game as a warm up and take it to em from beginning to end.

I am so sick and tired of not being able to watch the games from my house.

8 of our first 9 games on ESPNU or the Big Ten Network? Fuck Cablevision.

I can't even find streams online. I've checked channelsurfing.net, justin.tv, myp2p.eu... nothing.

Most of those ESPNU games aren't even shown on ESPN360. Fucking horseshit if you ask me.

Jacksonville: 77

Pomeroy Game Prediction:

% of winning: 96%

Ohio State Stats (rankings in parentheses):

FYI, here is Ken's definition of Block Percentage:
Block Percentage: This is the percentage of opponents’ two-point shots that are blocked by the player while he is on the court. It is computed by Blocks / (%Min * Opponents’ two-point attempts). Anything greater than 8% is very good.
Dallas leads the nation at 23.5%. Second is Jarvis Varnado of Miss. St. at 19.5%.

Jacksonville has played a difficult schedule and could give us a very good game tomorrow night.

Dispatch

The year-end, six-game homestand continues with games against Jacksonville (2-5) and Iona (2-5). Jacksonville has been competitive during a tough nonconference schedule that included losses to Florida State (by two points), Georgetown (nine), Baylor (eight) and Georgia Tech (three).

These guys are 2-5 but their largest margin of defeat has been 9 points. Four of their seven opponents were in the NCAA tournament last year. A fifth made the NIT. This game could be closer than some expect but it's one the Bucks should win.

I don't get BTN but I get ESPNU so I'll be setting a reminder for this one.
