Man this win is great for so many reasons....

1 - Just a win is a great felling after losing 4
2- Finally beat a ranked team
3- Keeps our NCAA dream alive
4 - FINALLY able to win a close game
5- This game could be huge for our confidence.. like a giant weight of bad luck has finally been lifted off.

Great win guys.. great effort... I still think if this team can rebound a find a way to finish when they go to the rim they will be a very tough team to beat.

Way to step Jamal!

Ohio State is now my second favorite Big Ten team. I'll make sure to use my connections and tell the Badger players to sacrifice themselves for the Buckeyes in the BTT, if you can get that far. :) Win a few straight with some quality mixed in there, i.e.: a couple against MSU, and one against Wisconsin; and you should be in good shape.

It's not just the outright Big Ten Championship which made me gleeful tonight, but I really do hate Purdue all rivalries, and head to head losses aside. They irked the crap out of me early in our first contest together when their fans are giving the stupid travel symbol twice on every offensive possession. That's always my #1 sign of an ignorant fan base. Success came too quickly so you see all their bandwagoners come out of the woodwork. And Hummel is that Brian Cardinal type who really gets under your skin.

aTm was the #15 ranked team when tOSU played them in N.Y. on Nov. 23rd.

The 'Cuse was #21 when tOSU beat them in N.Y. on Nov 21st.

Nope, but he probably woulda thrown it down court.

Did anyone notice the whistle that blew as the clock exp'd? Lots of refs influence tonight, but the line stats show an evenly called game... and purdue did have 2 foul outs.
