This is the first time I have seen them play since the NIT. The defense tonight has been pretty good. Less freshman mistakes, but still seeing some puppies with big feet out there.

Yeah, the defense has been the key tonight, they have been on it all night. If they can't put a performance like this together regularly they are going to be a scary team.

30 Points for Butler doesn't hurt. What a monster.

i love this match-up zone.....it really helps us control the game.

Thankfully Illinois couldn't hit a single shot tonight, but I think our long rangy perimeter players play a part in that as well

Jamar Butler is soooo underrated too....I've said it before, but that weight loss is the best thing thats happened to him...it made him an NBA player

Not sure I like the Jamar Butler-John David Booty comparison all that much.

But OSU is taking care of business.

Koufous nails down the jumper, and Illinois just threw the ball away.

Final score - Ohio State - 74-58.

Butler - 31 pts, 5 assists.
