True, but I don't think Va Tech is going to lite it up like Butler did from 3 point range. I think we need to be more consistent on the Offensive end, like we were in OT. Pound it to Dials and take the open shots when available.

there needs to be more movement with and without the ball. it looked like a jim obrien offense out there at times. osu came out flat and uninspired and it almost bit them in the backside.

Well Butler was forcing us in to our half court O' and taking us out of our game not allowing us to push the ball. I think once they all start playing a little more together they could be dominate. On a nite when this team is shooting well we could easily beat anyone we play by 10 pts.

This should be a nice test and a game that could very well boot us from around 29th into the Top 25.

Commercials setting up this game and the ACC/Big Ten matchup have already begun on ESPN!! They are saying things that really get you hyped - "Its the battle between the two best conferences - ACC and Big Ten."

I hope we have a good showing, to encourage the decision-makers to schedule a clash of the 06 recruiting classes: OSU vs. UNC.

Definitely a good stepping stone. I think we can develop into a dangerous team, but with only dials down low we're not ready to go out and schedule a bunch of elite opponents yet.

Damn, I didnt even think of an OSU-NC matchup next year. That would be a HUGE game with the recruiting class - quite similiar to the OSU/Texas matchup (battling of the top 2 recruiting classes). "Brawl in the fall"

Anyone know why their forward Collins has not played in the past two games?

VT will be another stepping stone for us. Their only loss was to Bowling Green and by one point. Granted the game was at home and they should have won it.

They were without primary big man Coleman Collins for the past couple games, as he was home tending to his ailing father. They have a game on Friday against Morgan State before hopping the plane from Blacksburg to come meet us in the Schott', and Collins is expected to return to the team before then.
