Somehow I can't bring myself to believe that there will be a let down today of any kind. This team should know that they have a long way to go And Jt and the boys should have pounded that into them all week. Offensive production, Defensive break downs, penalties, the blocked field goal, the boobless cheerleaders all have to be improved upon and we all know it right along with the team.
I am looking forward to continued improvement in every phase of this game.
NW should turn out to be a good game for us to gain game experience and become more consistant in our play.
:oh:

GO BUCKEYES

I look forward to the improvements in the boobless cheerleaders as much as how productive the offense will be.

Starting safeties vs. NW?

I was watching the local news' preview show of the OSU v. NW game (Channel 5 here in Cleveland), and they stated that the starting safties for OSU were Nick Patterson and Jamario O'Neil.

Please tell me this is incorrect.

this is incorrect. the starting safeties are Kurt Coleman and Anderson Russell. in Nickel situations, Malcolm Jenkins moves over to play center field, and Chimdi Chekwa comes in to man the corner spot...

Appreciated. I did remember that this is typically who plays. I was just hoping that the local-yokel news was incorrect, and that no one in the secondary had gotten injured or something.

I don't know for sure that this is incorrect. lvbuckeye seems to think that it is incorrect. What he's talking about is what the Buckeyes have done in the recent games, and I have no reason to think that they'll do anything else.

The reason of my post is this: what the hell are you doing believing ANYTHING that ANY of the Cleveland news media says about the Buckeyes? Haven't you learned, yet, that they don't care about the Buckeyes, and they have no desire to report about them? They'll report that Ohio State players all decided to go become brocolli farmers, if they felt that they could go back to talking about how great the Browns are going to be, now that they traded Charlie Frye away for a Shaun Alexander-signed football. But you did right to check your information with Buckeye Planet.

I usually don't pay much attention to the media up here. They'd rather report about Brady Quinn cutting a loud fart instead of anything related to OSU.
