Iowas playing flawlessly on offense. We havent really done a bad job on defense except for allowing Johnson to get open 3's. That just cannot happen.
On the offensive end we arent penetrating enough and getting to the rim or the foul line. A couple of times Koufos has gotten inside 15 feet and attacked the basket with success, that needs to increase the second half. Hunter hasnt been efficient on the offensive end or the boards. Lighty has only been involved minimally thus far, he needs the ball more and attack the basket each time. I loved the effort by big Dallas when he got in the game. I want to see more of him the second half as well.
The shots will start falling. We have to limit Johnsons possessions and collapse the middle on Gordey. We should pull this out if we increase intensity on both ends.

I'd say they need to be more patient on offense. Butler needs to take control of things. They have no flow. They can't count on getting fast breaks and chucking up 3s as soon as someone gets semi-open. On D they can't afford to continue to let Iowa break them down and get a wide open shot after holding the ball for 30 seconds, especially Johnson. They also can't stand flat footed and watch Iowa grab an offensive board when they miss. Overall, they seem impatient which is surprising given their youth.
Really feel bad for Diebs, he really bricked that last 3 attempt. Would love to see him work that stroke in the second half. Kofous remains an enigma. He had a stretch where he looked like a lottery pick and one where I thought Matta might run out on the court to yank him to the bench. Hope he sticks around long enough to put it all together because he could be special. Lighty has been mostly invisible, but a great drive and a sweet 3 when he touched it. I'd like to see more Lauderdale.

I dont think ive seen a player improve more over the course of 22 games than Hunter has in my entire life. This kid is a monster at this point.
