Game Thread Ohio State 45, Northwestern 10 (Nov. 8)

I was just wondering. I know it's early.

Sometimes kickoff times are announced well ahead of time, but those are typically night games. Gametimes for games during the day are usually announced much closer to the actual date of the game (e.g., the Purdue game next weekend was just announced as a 3:30 kickoff on Monday). NU will be 12:00 or 3:30, but it likely won't be announced for awhile yet.

Nothing up on the OSU Athletics site, and like BB73 said, it probably won't be until the Monday before the game. I would bet that it's a 3:30 or 7:00 game. Big Ten opponents love putting their home games against the Buckeyes as late as possible.

I didn't say it would be the Monday before the game, it's customary for the Big Ten to announce the starting times 2 Mondays (12 days) before the game, if it hasn't already been decided due to a TV schedule before that.

Oct. 27th is 12 days before the Nov 8th game.

Question about Ryan Field:

Where is the "visitor's section?" I know we travel well to Evanston and will be buying tickets--I just want to make sure I'm where I'm supposed to be.

The East side of the stadium and the South End Zone will probably be split fairly evenly. As long as you're not near the middle of the field on the West Side, you should have a fair number of Buckeye fans near you.

The block of tickets allotted to tOSU will probably be near one of the 10-yard lines on the East Side, but they don't those out until 2 weeks before the game, so I'm not positive where those will be.

Game times and television information for the Buckeyes' other games this season (at Illinois on Nov. 15 and at home vs. Michigan on Nov. 22) have not been announced.
