Few things I got from this game: Laurinitis stepped up BIG TIME and reminded us all why he is the captain of this D.

Thaddeus Gibson has some major wheels!

MSU bit on almost every single play action, LOVED IT.

The defense had that fierce look in their eyes, something I haven't for a LOOONG time!

And the whole "Beanie Hop" into the endzone, was absolutely priceless...


What a game, bring on Penn State!

I only was able to see the last 13.45 minutes of the 4th quarter by the time I got home & my HD cable box had to re boot of all things!
Looked good what I saw! Mr.Dantonio gave J.Tressel a chilly handshake & was on his way out not very happy.

He was probably pissed at his offense for giving up TWO defensive TD's AND 3 turnovers in the second half!

I mean, that damn Jim Tressel, always running up the score! Should have taken a knee when they recovered the last fumble! :biggrin:

The Beanie hop scared the living shit out of me...Beanie protect that foot kid.

The reason our db's and lb'ers look so good is because the Dline has stepped up.

PSU has little offensive film to look at.

PSU's safeties were exposed badly versus Michigan. PSU's D-line is their strngth but MLB and safety are their weakness.

If we can stop Ringer we can stop Royster. They have not played a secondary as good as ours...not even close. I noticed all of our D-line stayed home and didn't overpersue...awesome.

Well-played, complete game by the Bucks!!! Pleased to see the fire, the passion, and the execution.

I must admit, though, that I do feel bad for Dantonio and Ringer. I'm not saying that the Bucks did anything to make me feel like this. Just that I wouldn't have minded it being against someone that I have less fuzzy feelings for. May the Spartans have a successful remainder of the year (particularly against UM).

We got a great push from the D line in the first half, but I didn't think we got it in the 3rd quarter. I will say I was extremely impressed with Williams.He did lose contain against Cushing, but he was able to get in his face and flush him out of the pocket. Great pass rusher. Overall though I thought the line on both ends of the ball showed up to play. It definitely helps when ou get penetration with the front 4 and sustain blocks with the front 5.

Loved every minute of it today.

My top 3 realizations from today's game (in no particular order):

1) We remembered that the TE position exists for receiving purposes.

2) Pryor has been taking Beanie's stiff-arm classes.

3) Jenkins and 'Lil Animal should go in the first 15 picks of the 2009 Draft.
