Glow sticks?!? Are you serious? Will the Technoviking be leading the team on to the field? All Hail The Technoviking!

Seriously, I hope we crush them as they are a close second behind michigan for my least favorite college team.

With the glow sticks this has gotta be the one...

I don't know about the talk radio where you are at Mili, but, here I get the homers beyond belief. Today I heard on the radio "Ohio State is going to lose to Penn State, this is an Ohio State team that barely beat a Michigan State team who lost to Northwestern."

What the hell is that? Do people ever actually watch the games before they discuss them? Not to mention Mikael Thompson is on the program that was saying this and he went to Minny...

Just one of many people who have made a big issue of the 7 point win. The only thing unique about this one is that he was stupid enough to water down his point by doing the transitive comparison to Northwestern... a weak argument that Mili skewered nicely.

The most amusing piece of this to me is that Michigan State had the ball once (on their very first possession) with an opportunity to tie the score.

One time

One stinkin' time.

We scored a TD on our first possession. They get the ball with a chance to tie the score and do squat with it.

They never had the ball with a chance to tie the score again.

Call the game "close" if you like. That's great. Maybe you can accomplish the impossible and make Kirk Barton even more intense than he looked in the post-game press conference. Maybe you can give the Buckeyes an even bigger chip on their shoulder.

But I doubt it.

The Buckeyes probably don't take this guy (or those like him) any more seriously than I do.

Large crowds? Glowsticks? That stupid techno song they play over the PA system for third downs and stuff? What's next - JoePa taking ecstasy on the sideline?

There you go. Make Kirk Barton even more intense, angry and focused than he usually is. He'll go Orlando Pace on everyone and start a race with Beanie to see who can put more defenders on their back, the Stiff Arm of Justice or Kirk.

Personally, I would like to see that very much.

This media shit is the type of stuff these boys NEED. I'm glad everyone's not talkin how great we are. Only us buckeyes think we have a shot, and hopefully we prove that on Saturday night. Everyone in the country wants to see us go down, and honestly a loss this year will hurt me more than any other year. Just because I don't wanna hear them fuckers (media) say "I told you OSU was only borrowing time as #1". I hope we win because this is my team, my week, my autumn, and my state but now I hope we also win just to hear everyone bitch about how we got lucky. I smile when I hear that because if any of them watched this team play they'd understand that this team is on a mission, and while they might not shout Superstar this team gets the job done and does so convincingly.

On a side note the closer this game has gotten the more nervous I'm getting... For sure this is how I was last week against MSU, and against every other team the past 3-5 years. We know how those turned out.. Go BUCKS!

I'm sure the O-line who averages 6'6" 305 across the board is really looking forward to getting after a d-line who is banged up.

1. Missing their best d-tackle
2. Missing a reserve end
3. Starting two underclassmen at d-tackle
4. Both their starting ends are UNDER 265
5. The Linebackers aren't exactly huge either coming in around 230 a peice.

This PSU defense has failed every test it's had this year so far against teams capable of running the ball... Michigan&Hart ran wild over the left side of that defense, and Illinois put up 200 yards? I don't care how good Illinois is you dont' give up 200 yards.

I think PSU will struggle containing the running game at first, and once they commit a safty or start creeping people up BAM over the top touchdown bucks. I think Beanie will set the first quarter on fire doing something like 10 carries 55 yards, and he's slow in the 2nd and finish with 15 carries 65 yards by the half. We'll come out and hit them deep and them beanie will get to 100 yards by midway of the 4th.

JoePa moonlights as pizza delivery man
Friday, October 26, 2007
The Associated Press

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. Add "pizza delivery man" to Joe Paterno's lengthy resume.

Penn State's 80-year-old head coach got the rock-star treatment Thursday from sweat shirt-wearing students camped out in front of Beaver Stadium to get prime seats for Saturday's night's game against top-ranked Ohio State.

"Who's paying for this?" he joked after more than 20 pies were wheeled out on a dolly.

"I want to give him a hug," one female student yelled from the crowd after Paterno and his wife, Sue, dished out slices.

Students started camping out just after midnight Tuesday, braving intermittent rain this week. Paterno hung around for about 20 minutes, wandering among the tents and shaking hands with fans.

Cont...
Saw this on tv... the student they interviewed was was boasting, "First he gave us the pizza, and then he ate it himself! It's a day I'll always remember."
