C'mon, sniper. Your guys were the #2 team in the country. Now if your season turns out like ours in '05 when we were pre-season #1 but went into the dismal multi-year slide that we're still in, I'll come back and say last night's win turned out to be not so impressive. For now, it's a great upset.

BTW, anyone who saw the game on FSN witnessed one of the greatest venues in college sports. I'll give credit where credit is due.

Congrats to the team, but one game does not remove Markell's dome from the chopping block.

But it's not even that significant when you're playing 30+ games and one loss doesn't affect you like it does in football. In NCAA hockey, I tend to hold off on the great upset talk unless it's Holy Cross-Minnesota. Regardless, an impressive win by OSU, I wouldn't bet on a second one.

You're looking at it from a Michigan perspective. Yes, one game is not the end of the world to your season or your program. Michigan is one of the 3 or 4 marquee programs in college hockey, it will contend for the CCHA championship this year, and it will most likely be a top 5 team this season and make an NCAA run.

Ohio State's program is far down right now. It's going nowhere: this season or for the foreseeable future, and as icing on the cake, we've had to watch one of our in-state little brother schools grab the #1 ranking. From our perspective, this game is huge. It's a bright shining star in a sky raining crap!

Now lose tonight, then get your shit together and seize that number one ranking away from Fredo(OH) for the pride of the (future) Big Ten hockey conference.:wink2:

The bucks played great tonight and loss 4-2. I felt like 1 of maybe 10 buckeyes fans in the Yost arena. It was a great time and didn't have any problems other than the asshole behind me sticking his knee in my back.

Thanks asshole if it wasn't for not wanting to waste the drive by getting thrown out, I would have thrown your ass down the aisle.
