Game Thread Ohio State 3, Southern Cal 35 (Sept. 13)

We can all guess how this game might be viewed.
USC wins= greatest team of all time loaded with Heisman Trophy prospects.
"See! We told you OSU is always over rated and needed a bad call by a ref to win that National Championship. "
OSU wins=USC is having a down year and really isn't that good, but wait till next year! OSU is still over rated and would lose to the 4th place SEC team. Pray they don't get invited to another National Championship game, ever! Because.
What everyone really wants to see is a Popularity Bowl game. (USCvsSEC Champion)

The major problem is that there might be some legitimacy to the "USC is down" argument. I mean, they lost a ton of talent to the draft and are replacing a huge number of starters. That argument might be very persuasive.

Of course, we're getting way ahead of ourselves. The game is months away and we're kind of assuming that OSU will win - perhaps not a great assumption to make.

Maybe, but not according to Kirkie and the job Petey has done. USC never re-builds...they are LOADED, at every position, especially on D!
Yeah right, I like our chances...a lot!!

No one seemed to give a shit when we lost our entire defense in '06, and most of both our offense and defense in '07. The hypocrisy of the talking heads is just too much to take sometimes.

I'd say on offense it will be Stafon Johnson and Joe McKnight. The o-line will be very solid, Pat Ruel will ensure that.
On Defense the usual suspects in Maulaga and Cushing.
Altho Ellis is a major loss, i look for a rotation of Christian Tupou and Avrell Spicer along with Fili Maola to give us a very strong run defense.
