Game Thread Ohio State 3, Southern Cal 35 (Sept. 13)

Won't know until the game is over. The Bucks are seasoned and have strong senior leadership. If they stop Beanie, then Boeckman is forced to beat USC in the air, and that may be where they get us.

However, the Buckeye faithful oughta be a bit miffed at what the USC faithful are saying that the Boys of Troy are going to do to us - a 'clown stomping'. I guess that's reference to the big feet that are included in a clown costume, but if it's a 20.5 spread, then I'm going to forego vcash and head to Reno with some green cash. I'll be in the USC season ticket holder section, so look for scarlet and gray amid the mustard and ketchup colors at the stadium.

That spread is for the USC at Virginia game this week. Our discussino wandered a little bit.

I expect it to be around 4 for USC-tOSU.

Part of the perfect scenario for an Ohio State victory over USC is for USC to win very big over Virginia, tempting USC to sit back for 2 weaks and scoff at the Big 10.

When facing USC, the Buckeyes are going up against their mirror image in talent, athleticism, game prep, and head coaching. The fans can say whatever they want, but there is no way in hell the Trojans are underestimating us, or overlooking us.

CBS's College Football home page now has a countdown clock to tOSU-USC. 15 days, 8 hours, etc. And they're not even showing it.

He was saying that he hopes they stomp the Wahoos, and get fat and happy over the big victory. Then during USC's 2 week break, they'll get overconfident, and underestimate the Bucks. I am sure you could read between the lines, and personally dont think PC would ever allow this to happen!
