I don't think this is the kind of thing that Pryor should ignore. I think it is the kind of thing that should make him angry enough to respond with the performance of his life.

Exactly. I hope it flat pisses him off to the point where he has no nervousness or inhibitions. Let TP play some backyard ball...

Heyward will be camped in the backfield.
Big Dex will be a freaking wall
Thad is going to be up Clark's ass like a pair of last years underwear.

Pissed off Pryor plus being on the road with something to prove.

26-10 S&G

Fuck those Penn State kittens.

I used to live in Happy Valley, so I feel I have a lot of inside knowledge. It's actually a pretty cool place if you're in to chicks that don't shave their legs or brush their teeth. The mountains are beautiful in the autumn and the "deliverance" vibe is in the air. Fuckin hillbillies, Fuck Penn State.
Fuck their stupid ass Nittany Lion statue. I remember someone breaking it's ears off and spray painting it in either 94 or 95.
Fuck that stupid fucking dying pterodactyl sound they play.
I've seen better looking people on "The hills have eyes" than half the people in fucking happy trail valley.
So to all you Penn State fans, get ready for an ass kickin'
:oh:

I am really getting pumped for this game. It is the most I've been pumped for a while for a game. Hopefully it's really cold by the end of the game. Revenge is best served that way. I had to travel home in the cold last year and those A-holes better have a long walk in the cold this year. I hate State Penn only second to scUM. November is looking to be filled with alot of hate beatings and I love it. OH GOD BRING THIS GAME ON ALREADY!!!!!!

We've got to devise defensive schemes to get after their QB--Clark has shown that he is a very good quarterback when given time to throw, but he's also shown that he's not very good at all when he faces pressure (see the Iowa game). PSU's offensive line has shown that it is more than capable of being exploited, so I like our chances.

If Wisconsin was s dominating O-line and we got 6 sacks on them, I'm willing to bet we'll have no issues with PSU's line against the pass.

I know a lot of guys going to the game. Talked to a few of them today and they are all worried about the game. If our offense clicks I think we could run away with it. [censored] State Penn!

Truth be told I don't see our offense doing much. This isn't against them, this is because of PSU's defense.

However, I think our defense and special teams will put points on the board this time to seal the victory.

Good defense vs good defense... same as last year. Inconsistent offense vs inconsistent offense same too.

Seems to me that it will come down to TP and the running backs, play like they did against Minnie and it's all going OSU's way. Play the way they did against Purdue and the defense will wilt in the second half.

I look at those two games -- against teams with similar talent levels, similar offensive and defensive schemes -- and I am flat out puzzled. How could the Bucks play those two games back to back?

As for clothing discussion re: shirt ridicules Pryor; anyone else notice all the orange shirts at the Ill - Mich game with Muck Fichigan on them? I think we have the makings of a fashion statement.

I have measured optimism about this game; and, this has little to do with the fact that playing at Happy Valley is never "easy."

While I agree that the defenses will be the better units on display, the Buckeye offense will have to produce. We certainly shouldn't count on the defense scoring points to secure a victory.

Clark is capable of throwing short passes (look at the game logs of previous contests for evidence) and that can be a weakness of tOSU defense. Much has been said about Purdue's successful scheme on defense; however, their gameplan on offense wasn't too bad either. And I think PSU is capable of duplicating a similar scheme.

So, instead of rolling out familiar cliches like "we need to pressure their QB" and "the Buckeye O-line needs to execute well," I'm trying to make careful predictions why I think the Buckeyes will win.

I haven't been this nervous since USC. While this game may be a classic battle of two Big 10 defenses, I think tOSU offense needs to step up. I need therapy. Give me good reasons why the Buckeyes will destroy PSU. Please.

The PSU O-line isn't very good for one thing. tOSU's D-line is one of the best and possibly the deepest in the country. Our D-linemen and LBs will be residing in PSU's backfield for this game.

Also, Darryl Clark & Co. have been up against one decent defense this entire season, i.e., Iowa. His pass completion percentage in that game....37.5%. If Penn State is looking at the Purdue & USC film, we will be looking closely at that Hawkeye game. We have a lot more playmakers than the Hawkeyes do on both sides of the ball.

Another thing.....the two teams that PSU and tOSU have both played this season are Minnesota and Illinois. We looked better than PSU in both games. :)
