Yup. It has been effective on the run but not on the pass so far.

Yes, quite often, they just don't get to the QB. The DL is simply a weakness. We were all hoping for improvement, just hasn't happened.

OSU blitzes a good amount but its not getting there. You can't blitz every play and the DL isn't getting it done.

The prevent only prevents victory....

I also wonder why there were still 3 Lbs on the field in an obvious throwing situation.....It wasn't any of their fault obviously, but that big looked like a very basic cover 2 zone/prevent type......

We've been extremely agressive on D so far people.

Dropped a Pick or 2. Threw an INT and Fumbled the ball. Getting the ball run down our throats. Only down 3? I guess I'll take it.

We play that end around very well

we know when to just get down and play another down

We are the aggressor out there

We have absolutely no pass rush.. lets just accept it.. it doesnt exist on this yrs squad.

And for those calling for blitzes.. we blitz plenty, and it's constantly picked up to the point where it's not even worth trying anymore.. This is one of the worst group of blitzing LBs we've had..

Back to the Dline though. It amazes me how easily these guys are moved and knocked down to the ground

To be honest, I was afraid that the interior DL would get beaten up by Wisky's big backs. The 3rd and managables are killing the D. No push from the line, it sucks.

We seem to score early and then disappear (see USC). Hopefully that won't be the case in the 2nd half.
