Game Thread Ohio State 16, Purdue 3 (Oct. 11th)

True, but it's just frustrating to see OSU get to the redzone or get the ball on the opponent's 35 and not be able to do much. I just want to see Pryor get some big passing or running plays again. OSU can't afford to have him being so tentative this season.

He's being overly cautious at times, but I'd rather him take a few sacks than throw a few picks. He's a great athlete but he's still a freshman working on becoming a great passer. In high school, he didn't have to be one because he was so dominant with his legs.

As long as he avoids turnovers that put the defense in a tough spot I'm fine with the growing pains.

WRs--Pryor loves Posey. That is obvious. Now its time for the other WRs to accept what is happening and get moving. Hartline's lack of focus lately only feeds into the notion that he is not happy. Get over it and play ball.

Excellent point....you have to be ready to play every down and make the most of every chance you get....

This is what scared me most about having Pryor as the Starter. People giving up around him. I don't know if Hartline has lost focus due to Pryor not being as advanced throwing the ball, but if it is then throw out someone who wants to play. Simple as that.

You call out that PSU's defense gets shredded, but so far our offense is unable to move the ball against Purdue. Even if their defenses are comparable, we've put 6 points up, and I wouldn't be surprised if Purdue has more ToP right now.

Nope. TOP in OSU's favor, 17:14 to 12:45.

No OSU leads in ToP 1714 to 1245

People also should remember that OSU doesn't have Boom palying so they have been playing with their #3 team RB for most of the 2nd Q since Beanie is out seemingly.

Yeah I agree. I'm just impatient. I know he can get some big plays but he's struggling.
